On Monday May 20, 2024, during the INTA annual meeting in Atlanta, GA, Brand Action hosted a benefit event to raise money for World Central Kitchen and BeForUA. Our initiative helped feed people impacted by climate-related disasters, supported communities impacted by ongoing unrest in Haiti, and purchased two fully equipped ambulances with vital medical supplies to donate to Ukraine.

World Central Kitchen
We were thrilled to continue our support of World Central Kitchen's (WCK) efforts. WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises.
The Atlanta 2024 fundraising efforts supported two WCK initiatives—the Climate Disaster Fund and Haiti. The Climate Disaster Fund addresses the escalating impact of climate-induced hunger globally. WCK’s efforts in Haiti provided meals to communities impacted by ongoing unrest, helping to establish a distribution system to support hospitals and displaced families.

BEforUkraine
BEforUkraine, a Belgian non-profit founded in March 2022, is dedicated to aiding the people of Ukraine. At the start of the war, this 100% volunteer-run organization facilitated the relocation of Ukrainian refugees, particularly women and children, to vetted host families in Belgium. As the influx of refugees slowed down, BEForUkaine focused its efforts on the procurement and delivery of vital supplies, including generators, refrigerated trucks, ambulances, rescue stretchers for helicopters to use on the front lines to transport the wounded, and buses to enable children to attend school.
Our Atlanta benefit event raised funds for BEforUkraine to purchase TWO fully equipped ambulances with medical equipment and supplies to donate to Ukraine.
